Sarah Bedford (b. 1969, Roundup, MT) divides her time between Brooklyn, NY and Montana. She received her BFA from The Cooper Union, attended The Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture and was a recent recipient of the Sharpe-Walentas Studio Residency. Bedford has also received a Lower East Side Printshop Fellowship and the National Academy of Design painting award. Recent solo and group shows, include: Brooklyn Museum's 200th Anniversary Exhibition, Mrs. (NY), Vitrine Bermondsey (London), Secrist Beach (Chicago), Charles Moffett (NY), Albertz Benda Gallery (NY), Primary Projects (Miami) and Trophy Room (LA), among others. She has been profiled in publications such as Galerie Magazine, Maake Magazine, Hyperallergic and a ‘must see’ in Art Forum. In 2022 she co-curated Flower Craft, at the Museum of Arts and Design, which culminated her decades-long career in floral design.
