Reed Anderson (b.1969, in New York City) lives and works in Western Massachusetts. Anderson studied painting for three years at Cleveland Institute of Art (studying with Julian Stanczak) before transferring and receiving his BFA in printmaking from San Francisco Art Institute. He additionally studied at Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture and received his MFA in Studio Arts from Stanford University. Anderson has exhibited extensively for over 25 years nationally and internationally. His works are in major public collections, including: MOMA (NY), Knox-Albright (Buffalo, NY), The West Collection (Philadelphia), The Olbricht Collection (Essen, Germany), and The Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary in Austria.
