David Kennedy Cutler (b. 1979, Sandgate, VT) lives and works in Brooklyn, NY, and received his BFA from Rhode Island School of Design. His works are often the result of his “breaking and bending disparate art genres: photography, printmaking, performance, surveillance, fiction, painting and sculpture.” Recent solo and group exhibitions include Derek Eller Gallery (NY), Halsey McKay Gallery (NY), Peep Space (NY), Ditch Projects (Eugene, OR), M+B (LA), Tops (Memphis), and Villa Lontana (Rome, Italy). His work is in the collections of Whitney Museum of American Art, Wellin Museum of Art at Hamilton College (NY), RISD Museum of Art, and Yale University Haas Family Library Special Arts Collection. He has been reviewed in Artforum, Brooklyn Rail, Hyperallergic, Miami Herald, and Flaunt Magazine, among others.
