Alina Bliumis (b. 1972, Minsk, Belarus) is New York-based artist who received her BFA from the School of Visual Art and a diploma from the Advanced Course in Visual Arts (professor Alfredo Jaar) Fondazione Antonio Ratti, Como, Italy. Her work is included in numerous important public collections, including: The Victoria and Albert Museum (London), Moscow Museum of Art, The Saatchi Collection, Harvard Business School, Bat Yam Museum for Contemporary Art (Israel), Le Musee de L’histoire de l’immigration (Paris), The Morgan Stanley Art Collection. Bliumis has exhibited extensively nationally and internationally, including solo and group shows at The Aldrich Museum (Ridgefield, CT), Musee d’homme (Paris), Busan Biennial (South Korea), Tokyo Biennial, The Bronx Museum of Arts, and Museum of Contemporary Art (Cleveland, OH). Her work has been reviewed in Cultured Magazine, Artforum, ART – Das Kunstmagazin, ARTnews, AnOther Magazine, Vogue Italia, and Hyperalleric.
